The 2012 Mercedes Benz SLK was photographed on the Nurburgring circuit, thus showing a third generation roadster prototype with slightly less camouflage and pieces of AMG equipment.
The car seems to be having a much clearer look due to the removal of black tape and padding from the sides and front end. The headlamp shape can be seen for the very first time, while the grille with a single wing emblem resembles the SLS`s.
The AMG design traits are obvious for the side sills have become completely uncovered, while around back the bumper fascia design is also visible. The wheels up front are AMG`s with the cross-drilled brake disks sitting behind.
Regarding the performance aspect of the newly tested car, a saucier and more mouth-watering SLK AMG is offered instead of the current one.
According to some rumours from the inside, 2012 Mercedes SLK is expected to make its debut on the market next year.
