The two minivans, C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso are to make their public debut at the Paris Auto Motor Show later this week and more to that, specific details and information about the pricing have been published.
New styling elements were added to the five-seat C4 Picasso and seven-seat Grand C4 Picasso, which include a restyled front bumper, new headlights and rear light dusters, also a new chevron design on the front grille and tailgate and LED daytime running lights available for the higher grade VTR+ and the Exclusive models.
Chrome side window sills and a chrome rear bumper strip are added to VTR+ models, while potential and enthusiast customers may now enjoy the C4 Picasso Exclusive with a "black top" option, which adds a glossy black finish to the roof and more to that, it also offers A-pillars and exterior door handles, door mirrors and alloy wheel centre caps.
Also, the standard equipment for the VTR+ models receives rear parking sensors, USB socket and Bluetooth, electrically folding mirrors and the new Citroen eTouch Emergency and Assistance system.
The 2011 models offer e-HDI micro-hybrid technology, which makes an useful combination between a second-generation Stop&Start system, housing an e-booster function that can restart the engine instantly, in 0.4 seconds, a recovered energy during braking due to a reversible alternator and a Euro 5 1.6-liter HDi 110hp DPFS engine, having a 6-speed EGS transmission.
The good news continues as the French producers announce that the C4 Picasso delivers a combined fuel economy of up to 58.9mpg UK, having CO2 emissions of 125g/km or 132g/km.
Other specific details include for both Citroen models the new 2.0-liter HDi 150 hp diesel engine with a six speed manual gearbox, thus delivering a combined cycle fuel economy of 49.6mpg UK. This is also available for Exclusive models.
UK sales of the two Citroen models will begin at the 1st of October.
