Seat is debuting at Paris Auto Show upgraded

This week Paris Auto Show is hosting the 2011 model versions of the Exeo sedan and ST estate. The automaker considers the two models as being roomier with more space available to backseat passengers, due to redesigning the front seats and rear bench. Thus, room in the back has increased by 44 millimeters, without any damage to seating comfort or luggage space. Other updates to the model also include the introduction of a 7-speed Multitronic transmission on the 2.0 TDI CR Diesel versions.
Looking under the hood, one can see that Seat has equipped the 143-hp 2.0 TDI Cr Diesel version with Multitronic gearbox, which is continuously varying. A sport program delivers gear shifting at higher rev speeds and a 7-speed manual mode controlled via steering wheel mounted shift paddles.
Seat producers announce that this combination returns an average fuel consumption of 5.8 liters per 100 km, being equal to 40.6 mpg US and 48.7 mpg UK.
Also, revised tail lamps featuring LED technology come along with the upgraded model.
Other information and specific details are to be released at the Paris Auto Show.
