Paris 2010 reveals Ferrari SA APERTA as a tribute to Pininfarina

This homage given to Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina would make them extremely proud. After having made its global debut, the Ferrari SA APERTA (in Italian, “aperta” means “open”), is a real enjoyment to stare as one can never see it in person.
Only 80 sans-roof examples of the front-engined V12 are to be built. This number was not chosen at random, for it serves to honor the 80th anniversary of Pininfarina and more to this, the letters S and A serve to honor Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina.
The car appears to be not entirely topless, though because it comes along with a lightweight soft-top which the driver can install if the weather gets worse. Unexpectedly, the procedure proves to be a bit difficult and maybe one would prefer to simply drive faster and thus escape the bad weather.
Ferrari SA APERTA represents a noble way to pay a fair tribute to two men and to a company that had an important role for Enzo`s company.
