Many wonderful things happened at the Paris Motor Show. The world premiere of the new Range Rover Evoque was one of them. Car producers re-confirmed that a more practical and five-door version of the new compact SUV model will be released. They also presented the first official photo of the car model before its official launching, which is about to take place later this year. Other specific details were not revealed by the British automaker, but it is easy to assume that it will host the same four-cylinder engines as for the 3-door model, with a 2.2-liter turbo diesel which pumps out 150 HP and 190HP derivatives, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline, which is able to produce 240HP.
An updated six-speed auto transmission comes with both diesel and petrol engines. Even more to that, the Evoque will be the first Range Rover model available in both four-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive versions.
Next summer, both the three- and five-door versions of the Evoque are to start their sales.
