6 all-new models were released by Lotus this week at Paris Motor Show.
The new Esprit is designed to be a car that everyone has been waiting for and thus offers some answers concerning its future mid-engined 2-seat monster. The car model uses 620-horsepower 5.0-liter Lexus V8 and comes at 1,450 kg with a price of entry of £110,000.
Danny Bahar from Lotus CEO stated that reinventing an iconic as classic as the Esprit was a real challenge that one had to be very careful about.
They managed to create a fine balance between the greatness of the past and the leap into the future, making this car the symbol of the Lotus brand.
Danny Bahar also considered that they succeeded in finding a new icon, meaning a car people will instantly love.
