After making its debut at New York, Kia Optima producers have come to Paris in order to show the Europeans some tricks of the Korean flaya and be a strong competitor of the 2011 VW Passat B7. The car model offers its enthusiasts a pretty face, a driver-centric cockpit and efficient engines, one of which is 2.0-liter gasoline and develops 170 hp, while the other is 1.7-liter turbo diesel and develops 136 hp. With these features, Koreans aim to put a shadow over the usually-conservative mid-size German players. We cannot help asking the Europeans if they wish to spend their Euros on the Kia Optima or they are still buying European?
