New 2011 Chevrolet Montana is a little truck that might make all its way up from South America to the U.S. showrooms.
The car model is a small two-passenger and two-doors which has some similarities with the Brazilian Chevy Agile.
Mike Levine from General Motors stated to the press that the car model didn’t have any successor planned for the U.S.-version of the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon twins. The car features some modest power numbers-97 hp, 95 pound-feet of torque and 30 miles per gallon on the highway, but despite this fact, the front-wheel-drive trucklet could step nicely into the family of larger pickups. Also, the Chevy Montana proves itself capable to haul 1,671 pounds in the rear cargo area, this number being comparable to full-size pickups.
If North America is ready to receive a front-wheel truck, we`ll have to wait and see.
