The newest model from Peugeot made its debut at 2010 Paris Motor Show and impressed its audience with a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine, which is placed in front of an electric motor, powered by 37 hp.
The car model is a hybrid in which the powertrains are only connected and function independently. This way, fuel economy goes down by 3.5 liters/100 km.
In an effort to combine elements from the city car coupe and SUV, Peugeot designers provided HR1 with "an alternative door structure".
What appeared to be even more surprising than all this was the fact that Peugeot showed no in intention of bringing this concept to life.
