With photos and details previously released, 2010 Paris Motor Show featured the presentation of the DS4 model from Citroen and the producers promising more to come to this. This model has five doors, with three seats on the rear bench, but the handles are to be found hidden in the rear-window frames in order to make the car look like a coupe. Frederic Banzet, the Citroen boss, the models Ds4 and DS3 will be very likely followed By a DS5 model next year. Sources even suggest a DS sports car, but the Citroen boss stated that a soft-top DS3 was the next on the list. The DS4 is available to its customers with two diesel- 1.6-liter HDi 110 and an Hdi 160, the numbers feature the horsepower. A fuel-saving stop/start system comes with both diesel models. Regarding the gasoline-petrol part, there will be three engines- the 1.6 VTi 120, the THP 155 and a new THP 200- a 1.6-liter turbocharged power plant with 200 PS and 275 Nm of torque. It is a 1.6-liter engine range developed in a joint venure between BMW and PSA Group. Citroen producers also stated to the press that the DS label will not be a separate brand of Citroen, but a sub-badge of it.
