Cadillac recalls owners of the SRX crossovers to fix the power steering line

An announcement was made by General Motors on Thursday, regarding the 2010 Cadillac SRX Crossovers, which somehow appear to house a possible damage to the power steering line. Drivers have no reason to be worried as General Motors stated that this action was a simple voluntary safety recall, but it was necessary, for the issue may probably exist in only two or three vehicles, to be cautious as others may say.
Information released by the company reveals that damage in the line appears, this could cause a leak of the power steering fluid, thus making its way onto hot engine parts, eventually producing a fire. There was such an incident/fire with an unattended SRX.
The cars believed to be exposed to this danger were built in December 2009 and 3,460 were sold in the United States, while China received 341 of these vehicles.
The eventual repairs will be performed free of charge and the owners of this model will be notified and an appointment will be made for inspection.
