Honda launches the Fit Hybrid with already 10,000 orders received

Great news for Honda enthusiasts and, why not, potential buyers informs about the launching of the Japanese domestic market version of its new Fit, which Europeans recognize as Jazz, Hybrid, which is not much different from the regular Fit model, except for some equipment upgrades and an exterior refresh. Paris Motor Show hosted its debut while Honda officials already announced that the starting price will be about $19,300 and 10,000 orders had been received. The price rates the gasoline-electric vehicle as being one of the most affordable in Japan, providing its driver, besides comfort, quality and style, a fuel economy of 30 km/liter in the Japanese highway system. The European markets are expected to receive the Japanese model based on a 1.3-liter VTEC engine starting with 2011, named the Jazz Hybrid. The combined European cycle features the model as providing a fuel economy of 4.4 lt/100 km, while it remains unknown whether the automaker if and when is planning to extend in the North American market.
Until then, the Fit Hybrid Japan pleases its future drivers with a pretty modest facelift which covers only a new grille and bumper, revised tail lamps, updated interior trims, which are meant to make the car’s aerodynamic efficiency a better one.
