VW offers Chattanooga Police Department two Jetta Sportwagen

If one has ever thought that he has experienced everything, he should have second thoughts because, from now on, the Sheriff`s Department patrol car will be represented by two Volkswagen Jetta with a four-cylinder 2.0-liter diesel engine. This is a donation from the VW Company to the law protectors from Chattanooga and Hamilton County, which is part of VW`s plans to make its brand known in this community as the German producers are building a $1 billion plant, which is going to build the New Midsize sedan, starting from next year.
Featuring a body kit with front and rear aprons, this white VW Jetta was specially designed to host infotainment for communications and emergency lighting gear. The 18-inch alloy wheels of the car model are wrapped in 225/40 18" Goodyear Eagle GT, while the hood hides an engine that provides 236 Nm of torque and a fuel consumption of up to 42 miles per gallon on the highway.
Frank Fischer, who enjoys the position of Chairman and CEO of Volkswagen`s Chattanooga, stated to the press that they could not be more excited as they had the opportunity to contribute to the safety of this area by offering these stylish, comfortable and most important, reliable vehicle.
Furthermore, the reply given by the Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield voices only appreciation and respect towards the VW`s generosity, investment and donation at the same time.
