The 2012 BMW 6-series is set to go on sale next year, but this did not prevent the photographers to take photos of the model, undisguised, and then share them with us. The pictures provide the first and the closest look of the most expensive 6-series Convertible from BMW. It finds its place above the cheaper 3-series convertible and the Z4 roadster, but it is somehow weird that it retained its fabric top, a feature that the 3-series and Z4 have given up.
It is expected to be less bulky than the current model, also looking tighter, leaner and more aggressive.
Power initially will come from BMW’s 300-hp, turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six and 400-hp, twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8.
The quick fingered camera jockeys did a great job, indeed. More information will be most probably provided in the near future.
