If you happen to be the proud owner of a Suzuki Swift supermini, which was built between May 2007 and September 2009, there are some good chances to visit your local dealer sometime in the following weeks as the Japanese car producers officially announced that they would recall the Swift and three other models. Concerning the figures involved, it is now known that we are talking about 90,617 Swift units from Japan and another 192,000 ones which were sold abroad. According to Suzuki reports, the recall regards the car’s exterior mirrors over time, as the strong vibrations could cause screws to loosen and even the fact that the mirrors may fall off. There have been no accidents, but Suzuki representatives stated that they received 77 complaints on the matter.
