The Walkinshaw Series II Commodore is astonishing

When it comes to speak about Tom Walkinshaw, associated with the Australian car buff, there is no need for many details, as enthusiasts already know, as he is the man who founded HSV and is also the founder of VL Commodore based HSV SS Group A, which took place in the late 80s.
But Walkinshaw continue to develop some really impressive and interesting vehicles in Australia although he is no longer working for Holden.
Of course, he could not miss the 2010 Sydney International Motor Show, unveiling the latest model, the WP Series II Supercar. The car model provides an Edelbrock WP 230 supercharger, boosting the power to 617 hp 780 Nm of torque.
In order to achieve high-class performance, six piston brake rotors have been added, together with an upgraded and recalibrated suspension package, one that was developed in collaboration with Bilstein. The performance list is completed by a unique audio system upgrade badged by Rockford Fosgate.
Craig Wilson, the CEO from Walkinsahw Performance stated that they could not be more pleased and satisfied with the result, celebrating it by producing 23 examples, featuring a Panorama Silver finish. The colour was not chosen at random, as it adorned the original "Walky" 23 years ago, when first appearing at the Sydney Motor Show.
The whole package will feature a starting price of $99,990.
