The year 2011 will host the debut of the first Fiat-based Dodge, a rumour which has already been confirmed by Sergio Marchionne, the Chrysler CEO.
Unfortunately, the officials did not reveal too many details, as you would have probably expected, but what we know for sure is that the car model is going to be a sedan riding on Compact Wide architecture, one that is considered to underpin the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
The aim is to replace the Dodge Caliber and it is planned to be built on the United States territory.
Although the specific information has not been released yet, the engine is expected to be a 1.4-liter one with 101hp to 173hp and what is the most important, concerns the fuel efficiency, which will get up to 40 mpg.
This is all we have so far, probably next year, we will get more answers.
