Toyota/Subaru FT-86 Coupe was spy photographed in Germany

If you were still wondering about the Toyota and Subaruís upcoming FT-86 Coupe, these latest spy shots come to solve the mystery and offer a clear perspective. When the photos were taken, the car model was being tested in damp weather in Germany, of course, as we are used to, with a similar prototype spotted at the Nurburgring last year and another one was also photographed while it was undergoing some tests under hot-weather conditions somewhere in the Death Valley over the summer.
The sales are to begin at a global level, excepting the United States, wearing a Toyota badge with a 2.0-liter boxer engine, while the Subaru version appears to be featuring a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which raises an output of 260hp and it will not be available all-wheel drive, because of factors that concern some cost-saving measures. Expected to make its debut in 2012, it will be sold as Scion in the United States, featuring a 2.5-liter Boxer engine and a price around $25,000.
