Supercars get wild

Monticello's president, Ari Straus and his PR, Roger Garbow, decided to bring one day a bunch of supercars to the track for a day of drifting.

The idea, of course, sounds a little bit crazy. Supercars are not meant to go sideways, so, in an effort to explain how this idea came out, he shortly responded "Beer was involved", wich responded to all the questions.

When a local drifters club heard teh idea, they started practicing for this event.

Among the cars involved we could count a Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 Black Series, a Ferrari Maranello 575, a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, a Ford GT and a Porsche GT3 RS.

The result was impreessive, the day at the track being watched by a lot of people, including online.
