If you found the comparison between 2011 Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid and a Porsche Cayenne a weird one, you should take a second thought, because the Touareg Hybrid shares its supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, as well as the eight-seed automatic gearbox and its all-wheel drive system with the Porsche car model. Anyway, most of the people cannot afford to buy a Cayenne Hybrid which has a price of $67,700 and this would the perfect timing for Touareg Hybrid to step in, as we strongly expected it to become a sort of bargain of the two models.
But after Volkswagen presented the $60,565, plus $820 destination fee price of the Touareg, we began to have some second thoughts whether this model will reach to the people. What option would best fit the customers, it depends on each one of us and how much we are willing to spend.
