The AC Schitzer BMW German tuner is now offering clients the new tuned BMW 5 Series station wagons. Featuring body kits, sport suspensions and turbodiesel engines, the 5 Series is still available on the European market and the german tuner is more than happy to work on it.
Though the 5 Series diesel Touring models are available in 4 engine versions, the AC Schnitzer doesn't offer much board power. The 520d now has an output of 218 hp from the original 184 hp, received from the 2.0-liter turbodiesel I-4 engine. The 3.0-liter turbodiesel I-6 featured in the 525dm 530d and 535d models now receive 245/286 hp. The 535d has 360 hp.
The tuned model also features lowered sport springs for improvement of handling, eight-piston, fixed-caliper front disc brakes, and, at request, custom wheels designed by AC Schnitzer.
The body kit is optional and it features a new front bumper fascia side sills and a rear diffuser. The interior features carbon fiber trim pieces, a sport steering wheel, velour floor mats, etc..
