Opel and Vauxhall Corsa Facelift

After having introduced a revised edition of the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa in the beginning of 2010, the designers from General Motors are finishing the job for the 2011 edition with just a few cosmetic changes.

The new 2011 Corsa looks very much like the 2006 model, the main difference being the fact that the front of the car resembles that of an Astra. The grille and the lower section of the bumper are shorter and wider. The headlamps feature projector lenses, a lower character line and dark surrounds.

As for the back, there are just some minor changes applied to the hatchback and the rear bumper, now hiding the muffler and the exhaust tip.

Concerning the inside of the car, the model is pretty much the same one the 2010 edition has, except for the materials. The textured dashboard can be ordered in different colors and the buyer can also select to add a new touchscreen navigation system.

The engine is a 1.3-liter turbodiesel I-4 (ecoFlex) with 95 hp and it has been designed in order to keep its green-renown, for fuel-efficiency.

The car is expected to be available to dealers starting with January 2011 but no prices have been announced just yet.
