The German tuning firm, G-Power has taken the challenge to share the technology found on the 800 hp M5 Hurricane RR and M6 Hurricane RR in order to offer a modified version of the supercharger system on the E85 BMW Z4 as well as the E46 Series with the 3.0-liter straight-six engine. Both models feature a redesigned SK Plus supercharger system which replaced the ASA TM3 supercharger. The engineers also added modifications to the geometry of the compressor, thus obtaining a more efficient build-up of boost in the middle rev-range. The output of the SK Plus kit is increased by 55 ponies, to 286 hp and 345 Nm of torque. Thus, the tuned Z4 is able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. Customers receive the recommendation from the German tuner to specify their cars with 20-inch multi-spoke Silverstone Diamond alloys, which are available wrapped in 245/30 front and 285/25 rear Michelin tires and a 9-way adjustable coil-over sport suspension. A new hand-built rear silencer with matching tail pipes is available if the customers wish to ride on a more ferocious car. If you were curious about the pricing, we inform you that the tuner charges €2.500 for the performance upgrade.
