After being affected by the murdering of its founder Uwe Gemballa, the German tuner Gemballa is back in business, presenting its first project brought to life by the reviving CEO Andreas Swarts and investor Steffen Korbach. The 2011 porsche Cayenne is the purpose of the tuning pack, which reveals remarkable ideas for the SUV’s exterior, interior, engine, brakes with the add of new rims. The tuner prepared some special modifications for the body which integrate the choice of entire steel panels instead of carbon fiber ones, while they used for the hood, front wings, side sill covers, doors, front and rear aprons a lightweight material, thus obtaining a weight reduction of 70 kg. A special body kit was released for the 958 Cayenne which incorporates massive air intakes and vertical LED daytime running lights for the front bumper, wider wheel arches and heavily-modified rear end and here we are talking about the taillights, a roof spoiler and the rear fascia. Under the hood, the output was raised to 580 hp, due to an ECU remap, as compared to the initial 500 hp delivered by the Cayenne Turbo’s 4.8-liter biturbo V8 unit. The Stage 1 name is used by the mode, while the tuner is already developing the Stage 2, which is expected to offer an output increase of between 35 and 40 percent, announcing the German SUV delivering between 675 and 700 hp with an increased torque of 30 percent (1,000 Nm). A set of ultra-lightweight 22-inch alloy rims together with a Brembo braking system that uses cross-drilled and slotted rotors, are to be found in the kit. A series of modifications which concern the interior are being developed by Gemballa and only 30 people will have the possibility to enjoy the pleasure of driving a Tornado Porsche Cayenne.
