A preview illustration which reveals the next generation Honda Civic has recently been released by Honda, with its presentation following in Detroit, at the well-known 2011 North American International Auto Show. Designed in concept form, this sketch, seems to offer an aerodynamic profile which strongly resembles the Honda CR-Z. The engine options still remain a mystery, but according to some sources, the Civic is likely to get a new petrol and diesel mill, possibly connected to a dual-clutch transmission, but we are waiting for official confirmation. Taking a closer look at the sketch, we define a three-door hatchback, but we cannot help thinking of the Civic sedan version, previously spy photographed.
Stepping into its ninth generation, this production version is scheduled to be released on sale in spring 2011.
