Conflicting MPG figures of the 2011 Chrysler 200 hit the maker`s official website

Many details concerning the 2011 Chrysler 200 remain unclear though the vehicle is set to make its debut at the end of January. While the mpg figures are still unknown, pictures of the interior have not been released yet by the car maker, only a video. After making some serious investigations we found out that the company cannot decide which the correct EPA estimated mpg is.
After browsing a page on Chrysler.com, we found an unexpected feature of the 200 sedan which will be equipped with 173 hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine returning 21/30mpg city/highway connected to both 4-speed and 6-speed automatic transmissions. We would have expected better numbers and we find it hard to believe that the yet-to-be revealed 200 Convertible will be rated at an identical 21/30 mpg because open top cars need extra structural strengthening, lowering fuel efficiency and increasing weight.
Furthermore, the confusing details continue to appear as in the "Compare Vehicle and Model Specifications" section, it says that the 2.4-liter engine 200 sedan returns 20/31 mpg. Putting it either way, the vehicle occupies a last place when making a comparison with the Toyota Camry (22/32 mpg), Honda Accord (23/33 mpg) and Hyundai Sonata (22/35 mpg).
