Luxgen unveils new special edition SUV and MPV models at Taipei Show

Luxgen represents Taiwan’s first passenger car maker, was launched on the market at the end of 2009 and most of the people recognize it as a company which builds Nissan models under license. Last year the company presented its first models, the LUXGEN7 SUV and the LUXGEN MPV and now we find it unveiling two special edition versions, which add special styling cues and extra features. The event that hosts this unwrapping is the 2011 Taipei Automobile & Accessories Exhibition. Taking a look at the LUXGEN SUV Sports, one can notice the black paintwork with red detailing on the bumpers, mirrors and roof rails, side skirts, newly styled 20-inch alloy wheels, plus smoked lights, quad exhaust outlets, rear hatch and carbon fiber trim on the front grille. Lacking pictures revealing the interior, Luxgen officials state that the black and red two-tone theme continues to be present on the suede seats and steering wheel and other touches that integrate the carbon fiber decorative trim on the center console together with aluminum pedals. The LUXGEN7 MPV Elegance is the second special edition model and it interestingly combines a black finish with chrome detailing as well as new 20-inch alloy wheels on the outside. Its interior is expected to be stylish and luxurious, showing diamond quilted two-tone suede seats, a brown leather steering wheel as well as classic walnut wood trim.
