Motor Trend recently tested the new Chrysler Town & Country Touring minivan and their conclusion was that while the car wasn't the best in its series, it surely brought enough change in this game.


The engine is a Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6, good enough to produce 285 hp (with 32 hp more than the 4.0-liter) and 260 lb-ft of torque. The car has a more refined feel, being quieter and with a much crisper throttle response.


With a price starting at 32,910 USD, the 2011 Town & Country has brought a lot of improvements, starting from what's under the hood to the exterior. Among them are the new more stylish grille and nose for the exterior, a new look for the hood, new taillights, rear glass and a Chrysler emblem posted high in the front.


With a braking distance of 130 feet the new Chrysler also features retuned shocks, an impoved twist beam rear axle and a much better ratio steering.


The interior of the 2011 T&C evokes luxury, as Chrysler has been upgrading its appearance and materials. Making in noticeable among its Japanese competitors, the car got a chrome trim, a more comfortable seating with the redesigned Stow'n Go and some sparkle.
