The Monte Carlo Rally, one of the oldest auto competitions is celebrating its 100th anniversary and because Skoda was part of it since its beginning, the Czech car manufacturer has launched a special Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo edition of the five-door hatchback model. The exterior of the car has a two color paint with a bright red body and the front grille, spoiler lip, wheel arch add-ons, roof, side skirts and mirror housings painted piano-black. Moreover, the headlights casings are also painted black and all the windows have a tinted black shade. Starting from the Ambience version, this Monte Carlo special edition has 16 inch Comet rims and several engine options: either an 86/105 hp 1.2-liter TSI petrol or one of the 75/105 hp 1.6-liter TDI diesel engines. On the inside, the future customers can choose between red and black or black only leather seats, also the interior look will benefit from the leather steering wheel with red stitching, accompanied by leather handbrake and shifter knob. The Fabia Monte Carlo special edition will be officially presented for the first time this January at the 2011 Monte Carlo Rally but it will also be present at the Geneva Salon in March.
