New rumors emerge about four-cylinder turbocharged BMW engine

In the summer of 2010 there were intense discussions about the long-rumored family of turbocharged engines from BMW and since then the German carmaker has been quite retained in revealing more details, thus finding ourselves in a true mystery. But the Automobile Magazine has given us another clue, that the entry level BMW Z4 would soon acquire a new 4-cylinder force inducted engine, aimed to replace the naturally aspirated inline six. These were their exact words: "BMW new 4-cyl coming this year in Z4 roadster. Replaces nat asp 6, so at least 200 hp". It seems that BMW has that capacity to build a fine turbocharged engine and applies emission standards which are getting stricter and stricter by the day.
