New Lotus Evora patrol car for the British Motorway Police

It seems that for a time now, the high performance car manufacturers like Lamborghini, Ferrari or Porsche have found a new marketing trick: show off police supercars. Indeed the message is clear: this car is so awesome that even the police want one. Now it's time for Lotus to do the same thing with its latest four wheels beast. So the UK car manufacturer has loaned a brand new Evora to the British Central Motorway Police Group (CPMG).
Still, even if Gino Rosato, the Director of Corporate Operations at Lotus has stated that the company is proud to take part in this and similar initiatives to help create a safer road culture, we all know that this is still a marketing campaign so the Police branded Evora will not hit the motorway before being unveiled at the new Autosport International Show in Birmingham.
Lotus representatives have also stated that the car will stay with the CPMG for two months and will be used to track down and punish those drivers that overstep the legal speed limit.
The white Evora will come equipped as any other regular police car and also it will bear the blue-green markings of the British police.
