2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 production was confirmed

A U.S. Chevrolet dealers' meeting offered some leaking details concerning the upcoming Camaro Z28. It appears that the car model will be referred to as the "HP Edition" with its production planned to start on January 1st, 2012.
If you were waiting for this beauty, you have to wait for one more year.
Power will be provided by a 6.2-liter supercharged engine and will be fitted with a Magnetic Ride suspension and 285F/330R tires. Modest updates with brighter trim-work have been added to the interior, while the hood will receive a louver/slat design. Some speculations say that GM is thinking of using the 6.2-liter LSA V8 from the Cadillac CTS-V, delivering 415 kW and 746 Nm of torque, with some small modifications, of course.
