Lancia to revive with a little bit of Chrysler help

After the American car manufacturer has been saved from bankruptcy by the generous offer of the Fiat Group, it's about time for Chrysler to sustain the revival of another iconic car manufacturer: Lancia.
As it seems, Fiat intends to bring to next Geneva Motor Show a Lancia branded version of the new 2011 Chrysler 200. Also it is highly possible that the Lancia version will feature only a small number of modifications, like the front grille, the European style bumpers and headlights. Also it's possible that the Lancia will get a manual gear box and a diesel engine version of the car. So, for the first time since 1975 we could see a car proudly wearing the Flavia nameplate.
Moreover, Chrysler will contribute with another of its cars, the 300, that on the European shore of the Atlantic will be sold as the Thema and, why not, we could also see some versions of the Chrysler Town and Country Minivan and Stratos.
On the other hand, the new Lancia Ypsilon is in the cards to cross over the ocean for a Chrysler version of the hatchback.
So be on the watch because the so called premium Italian division of the Fiat Group is ready to make a great entrance on the car marker, Chrysler style that is.
