Audi presents high-tech Auto Union C Type E-Tron

Looking forward to seeing this year's International Fair in Nuremberg, February 3-8? You should, because the German carmaker Audi scheduled the presentation of model cars and other products, the most eye-catching being the Auto Union Type C e-tron, which represents a concept study featuring a fully-electric drive based on the firm's limited edition pedal car, sold through its Quattro GmbH subsidiary. The concept boasts of handcraft with the hand-finished body made of aluminum and carbon-look material, measuring 2.32 meters in length, 97 centimeters in width, being suitable for children and adults up to 1.8 meters. A lithium-ion battery provides power to an electric motor raising 1.5HP and up to 60 Nm of torque, power which is received by the rear wheels, being also equipped with a reverse gear. Its top speed reaches 30 km/h, a speed influenced by the driving style and its charging takes about two hours most by using any standard 230-volt household socket. Audi representatives have not revealed yet any intentions of entering the study into production in the near future.
