After giving it a new 2.0 liter turbo engine, BMW has made a new step in promoting its latest X1 model, launching an M sport package for the new compact crossover.
Inspired from years of tradition, the M sport package offers one of two sets of 17 or 18 inch rims and a special sport suspension calibration. Also on the "looks" side, the X1 gets new unique side skirts and spoilers, ans some sylver line trims around the side windows.
Still sticking to the outside, we should say that the car can come in several special exterior paint colors: Alpine White, Le Mans Blue, Sapphire Black, Space Grey, Vermillion Red and Mineral White.
On the inside, the new X1 features new cloth or alcantara seat upholstery, a special footrest for the driver and also a steering wheel with multifunctional buttons trimmed with the M logo and several brushed aluminum trims.
Without denying the performances of this car, we should say here that this is not one of those M prepared cars that benefit from the long experience of the BMW motorsport division. Instead, the X1 received a visual tuning and some suspension tweaks that gave it the privilege to wear the M logo.
