If you have bought one of the new Audi R8 Spyder, you might think you have one of the hottest cars on Earth and yes, you would be right.
So how can you improve on perfection? Well, the guys over at Sport Wheels have an answer for that, but it doesn't come cheap.
First of all, the tuners will start with an outside trimming that will replace many of the exterior panels: a new front bumper (7,800 euros), new cooling ducts (1,250 euros), a slightly different front spoiler (1,800 euros), a brand new rear bumper (4,800 euros), a rear diffuser (3,800 euros) and last but not least a new fixed wing (2,000 euros), all of them being built out of extra light carbon fiber.
Next, the Sport Wheels tuners will reach under the hood and install some new engine and exhaust system upgrades that will round up to about 6,000 euros. Right, that's damn expensive, but try to imagine that that all the engine and exhaust tweaks will bring you Audi R8 to a staggering 600 hp and 580 Nm of peak torque.
And because all this speed needs some extra power for stopping, the tuning house also offers a braking system upgrade package that contains the new and improved MOV IT CER ceramics brake calipers. The only thing that could stop you from getting it would be the ridiculous price of 21,990 euros. Ouch!!!
Overall, if you bring your Audi R8 to the Sport Wheels tuning shop you'll leave the place with a 62,000 hole in your pocket. But it's worth every cent. Eurocent that is.
