The Golden Touaregs

Today at the Volkswagen's Qatar Motor Show, the German car manufacturer has unveiled two brand new concept SUV concepts, both of them bearing the Touareg nameplate.
First is the Race Touareg 3 Qatar, a street legal version of the car that VW brought to this year's Dakar challenge.
Powered by an unknown 310 hp engine, the Race Touareg 3 has a sprint of less than six seconds from not to 60 and Volkswagen tried to keep its look as close to the competition version as possible.
On the outside, the German engineer took the race 16 inch wheels and mounted instead an 18 inch gold plated BBS alloys.
On the inside, the roll cage and the spartan looking dashboard are a reminder of the real beast that lies behind the Race Touareg name. Moreover, this concept SUV comes with Recaro race seats, sport steering wheel, sequential gear box and a digital instrument panel.
On the other hand, the 360 hp Golden Edition, with its gold plated 22 inch rims, roof rails, protective guard strips, boot sill trim and mirror caps, goes on a luxury path rewriting the book in matter of car opulence.
On the inside we can also find a lot of 24 carat gold plated elements complemented by Wall nut Burr made elements and fine leather seats. That's luxury.
Both of these concepts SUV were painted with the same "Magic Morning" body color.
