Hyundai sells 3.6 million vehicles in 2010

It seems that one record after another accompanies Hyundai in its journey for growth, a fact proved by the record sales and impressive profits. In addition, the South Korean carmaker took an important step when replacing Toyota as Europe's best-selling Asian brand, with 500,000 sales mark in the US for the first time since entering the market in 1986. The global sales comprise 3,612,487 units, a result which does not affiliate Kia Motorís accomplishments, all in all a 16.3 per cent increase as compared to the previous year. Thanks to the introduction of new cars and improved product mix, sales revenue rose 15.4 percent to 36.8 trillion won a year earlier and the operating profit also soared 44.4% to 3.2 trillion won. Ignoring the world crisis, their net profit reached a 77.8 percent increase to 5.3 trillion won.
However, Hyundai representatives have made plans for the year 2011, plans which integrate a global sales target of 3.9 million units. Judging by what they have done so far, the chances to succeed are great.
