Spy shots of the new B Class from Mercedes

Lately a new set of spy photos has surfaced on the internet and this time it's all about the new 2012 B class Mercedes Benz.
While some time ago, there was another set of spy photos concerning the B class, this time we can see more clearly the new head and tail lights and other aspects witch make it rather obvious that the car has borrowed quite a few design features from the Blue Zero concept.
Another interesting aspect is the way in which the roof goes downwards to the back end of the car giving the B Class a more raised hatchback look.
As far as Mercedes Benz announced officially, the smaller engines of the B class will be manufactured by Renault, while the bigger one will come from Mercedes. Therefore we can presume that the 1.2, 1.4 and 1.8 turbocharged petrol engines will be French made and the range topping 2.2 liter diesel will bear the manufacturer's three star logo onto it. Also, all the B Class will feature a start/stop button
Aside from classic fuel engines, there will also be a plug in hybrid (E Cell Plus), a full electric version (E Cell) and a fuel cell (F Cell) variant.
Mating with these engine alternatives will be either a six gears dual clutch automatic or a six speed manual gearbox.
Moreover, Mercedes Benz official have stated that the B Class will come in several body styles: hatch, sedan, coupe and crossover.
