The 911 series has always been one of the most popular products that Porsche ever released, with a sporty look and a dream like handling, these German sports cars have made the law for years on the Autobahn and even further. Now, Porsche thought it's time for something new, so here you have it: the 911 Black Edition: black paint, black convertible top and a fully black interior, kinda spooky though.
Featuring an under the hood 345 hp version of Porsche's 3.6 liter, six cylinder powerplant mated either to a manual or a PDK dual clutch transmission, the new 911 Black Edition is a true beast.
While having a bit more hp than the base edition, the 911 BE can do a flat sprint of not to 60 in just under 4.8 seconds, topping to a maximum speed off 170 mph. And all these with a fuel economy figure of only 19 miles/gallon in city driving and 26 mpg on the highway.
Other features of this black beauty include the convenience package (bi-xenon, auto dimming mirrors, automatic climate control) and infotainment package (navigation, Bose sound system, XM satellite radio and NavTraffic)
If you want to buy such a wild ride you have to be prepared as the $81,300 ($91,300 for the cabrio) price doesn't accommodate everybody, but this car is a really must have, if you afford it.
