2013 mercedes-Benz S-Class was spy photographed during winter testing

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz S-Class was spy photographed in Scandinavia, while it was undergoing cold-weather testing, in both daylight and night conditions in incredible temperatures, such as minus 30 degrees Celsius. Its details could be spotted, although the vehicle was wearing a heavy camouflage. It seems that it will feature a new grille, a more upright front face as well as CLS-like headlights integrating LED turn indicators. Mercedes-Benz plans of offering the next S-Class range entirely with hybridized drivetrains together with a plug-in hybrid version of the S-Class, were suggested in some previous press reports, but nothing is official yet.
The tests made by Mercedes aim to bring down the consumption figures on the S-Class, which is one of the best in its segment.
