New Captur design from Renault

When it comes to design, Renault has undoubtedly some of the best designers in the world and the new Renault Captur comes to proove once again that the French car maker has still a lot to say when it comes to innovative designs. In fact, the Captur, a french version of the Japanese Nissan Juke if we may say so, tends to go even further than the previous Renault concept cars.
It's impossible not to see that the Captur has a lot in common with last year's DeZir show car, a concept that opened the road for Renault's new design language. Still, we're not talking here about a twin car for the DeZir as the 2011 Captur comes with new innovative details and tends to take the concept car closer to a 100% functional vehicle. Take for example the 22 inch wheels whose white spokes are continued into the tires or the exquisit interior that intricately combines the dark orange lines with the bright orange lights mounted on the daskboard and the steering wheel maintaining at the same time a uniform and ellegant style.
Of course, this is a French concept car so it's pretty unlikely to see any of these great ideas applied too soon on a street car. Even so, the 2010 DeZir and the 2011 Captur are only the preview to a brand new design language that will be most likely implemented on the next generation of Renault cars.
