The new Freemont 7-seater crossover represents the limelight of Fiat's exhibition area for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and it is also considered to be the first Fiat-branded vehicle resulted from the partnership with the Chrysler Group. Scheduled to go on sale in Fiat dealerships across Europe from the second half of 2011, the Freemont is obviously a re-badged 2011 Dodge Journey. The Italians have recently released a new set of pictures which reveal the interior. This new vehicle will be available with front-wheel drive together with a Fiat-sourced 2.0-liter Turbo delivering 140HP and 170HP, mated to a manual gearbox. Two four-wheel drive versions incorporating 170HP 2.0 MultiJet diesel as well as Chrysler's 276HP 3.6-liter V6 petrol unit, are expected to be offered by the end of the year.
