Dacia is preparing new Seven-Seater MPV for 2012

Another segment of the Renault's low cost Dacia is currently under development, thus showing the French manufacturer's objectives of expansion. A report from a French car journal, L'Automobile, announces that the Romanian carmaker intends to launch a seven seater MPV, which will be available next year, following the top of the line Duster soft roader. According to the report, the MPV will ride on a modified version of the Logan's platform and will be named Pospter, while its power will be delivered by a 1.5 dci engine providing different power outputs and 1.2-, 1.4- and 1.6-liter petrol engines. Priced at EUR15,000, the MPV will not be the last model for Dacia, as the Romanian company is also planning its own version of the Kangoo, which we currently find codenamed as project K97. L'Automobile Magazine releases an approximate price for the Romanian version of Kangoo, of 13,000 euros and it is said to incorporate a spilt tailgate and sliding doors.
The Popster appears to be slot in between Renault's larger Grand Scenic and Dacia's own Logan.
