Lexus LFA Nurburgring in Geneva

A nice surprise was made by the Lexus team in Geneva with their improved LFA. This month the Nurburgring Package is all about the customer. They came up with a series of ideas on how to please the ones that purchase the car. So you don't just get an excellent car, but you also receive 'Ring driving lessons, and a one year pass on the program.
Of course this offer is not for everyone, as the company produces only 50 packages so only around 10 per cent of LFA possessor will be able to buy the upgrades.
The engineers improved the 4.8-liter V10 engine, boosting output by 10 hp (7.46 kW / 10 PS) to 562 hp (419 kW / 570 PS). The six-speed chronological transmission was also improved, now being able of a 0.15-second gear change, a 0.05-second progress. Other features included in the equipment is some carbon fiber body pieces, with fixed rear spoiler with fins, finned side spoilers and a big front spoiler and also lightweight alloy wheels wrapped up in racing tires.
The conclusions: 0-100 km/h sprint of 3.7 seconds, but the top speed of 325 km/h remains the same. The LFA also wins a 10 mm drop in ride height, and a retuned suspension.
Now the hard part is the price as Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package was broadcast as costing $70,000, but unfortunately limits exterior paint choices to black, matte black, orange and white. For the European units there are also carbon fiber sport seats lined in Alcantara and also a carbon fiber center console and door inserts.
