Chevrolet expands the Cruze range with the Hatchback model

The highlight of Chevrolet's 2011 Geneva Motor Show was embodied by the final production version of the new Cruze hatchback, with which Chevrolet aims to increase its sales of the Cruze because the hatchbacks occupy 65 per cent of all compact segment sales in Europe. A more attractive design features the five-door version due to short overhangs at both the front and rear and the sweeping roofline. Unfortunately, the cargo capacity has been reduced by 50 liters as compared to the sedan for a total of 400 liters. While its sales are scheduled to begin this summer, its power will be ensured by the same engine range as the sedan, integrating a 163HP 2.0-liter turbo diesel and 1.6L and 1.8L gasoline units.
