Nokian achieved the higher speed on ice

Just a month ago, a new speed on ice record was registered. 205.48 to be more precise and it belongs to a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible, later brought to the Geneva Motor Show.
Nokian Tyres, specialized just in tires, affirms, just after one month, that Janne Laitinen, its driver, reached speeds higher than that 206.05 mph (331,610 km/h) on board of an Audi.
Nokian tried to set a new speed record for tires and it did, apparently using Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 studded. Well in this case, Bentley's achievement is in danger and Audi has to analyze what the Nokian test driver managed to achieve on the Gulf of Bothnia in Oulu, Finland.
Nokian Tyres' technical customer service manager made public the fact that what they want by testing at such high speed is to develop their products.
To be recorded by the Guinness World Record organization, the tires must be available on the market and authorized for road traffic in the country in which the record attempt takes place. The speed is calculated as followed: it's measured a one-kilometer distance in both directions, and the record is the average between the two sprints.
