Honda announced yesterday that Ancura's new refined TL model will get on sale in the United States in March 18. The car has new front and back styling, but it also adds a new 6-speed automatic transmission, enhanced interior and different technology upgrades. The TL looks different, is different and will take performance to the next level. City/highway fuel economy for the model is 20/29 mpg, a 3 mpg increase in highway driving over the 2011 model. For the 2012 an Advanced Package is available that incorporates all-new ventilated front seats, larger wheels and a new blind spot information system that alerts the driver when another car is detected behind the driver in an adjacent lane. The 2012 TL includes ABS, Electronic Brakes Distribution and Brake Assist in conjunction with the 4-wheel disk brakes, Vehicle Stability Assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring and daytime running lights as part of the safety package. The price for the model is $35,605. The TL SH-AWD will have an MSRP of $39,155. Equipped with the Available Technology Package will be $42,885.
