Mercedes with the B-Class is getting ahead of Audi and BMW which are moving down market.
In the last time, a lot of rumors were herd concerning this car and now a new report indicates the car will be finally launched in 2014. The details are not public yet, but it is expected to have a lot of styling influence from the CLS and F800 concept. More than that, the car will ride on the new MFA platform and feature front-wheel drive.
There is not a lot of information about the engine, but the Auto Express is declaring the choices will include a 2.0-liter petrol with 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS) and 2.2-liter diesel that develops 170hp (127 kW / 172 PS). In the end, because of the last fusion between Renault and Mercedes, the car could be outfitted with Renault engines.
