Citroen just announced that it has expanded the Euro 5 Nemo Van range to the U.K. market by adding the Nemo HDi 75 EGS Stop & Start 660 LX model. The new model has a dual-function Connecting Box, which includes Bluetooth and a USB socket. But this is not all; the Nemo HDi 75 EGS Stop & Start 660 LX also has Citroen's Electronic Gearbox System (EGS) - that is an automated manual gearbox. This gives the driver the possibility to select automatic mode, or manual mode using the sequential shift facility of the central gear selector. The CO2 emissions are reduced with the EGS, by 3.54 % to just 109 g/kg from the manual transmission Euro 5 model's 113 g/kg. And now lets talk a little about the fuel; the fuel economy figures are also better than those of the manual transmission van with 60.1 mpg (4.7 l/100km) urban (+7.82 %), 74.3 mpg (3.8l/100km) extra urban (remains the same) and 68.9 mpg (4.1l/100km) combined (+4.64 %). About the pricing the only thing, Citroen's Commercial Vehicle Operations Manager, Scott Michael said is that Citroen Nemo HDi 75 EGS Stop & Start 660 LX is only ?400 more expensive than the equivalent manual transmission model.
